Recently the Ohio Department of Taxation release a letter explaining the reporting requirements for school districts on W-2 forms should be done. The letter is available here. I've been asks is Sage 300 CRE (Timberline) will handle this reporting requirement. The answer is a definite YES. When you first start the Aatrix program to print W-2's you have an option at the bottom left to "Link Aatrix Tax Types".
Once you click the button you can then create a new tax that specifies the school district. How you name them is up to you but ultimately we need to find the school district tax on the list and assign it to our tax group. Below is a screen shot setting up Lancaster school district (2305).
